Candle Care

Every ILLUMINIQUE candle is hand-poured using natural soy wax, pure essential oils and a cotton wick. Following these simple care tips will help you enjoy a clean, even burn and get the most from your candle.

Before Your First Burn

Allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface during the first few burns. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of your candle.

Before Each Burn

• Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before lighting.
• Remove any wick trimmings or debris from the wax surface.

While Burning

• Burn your candle on a heat-resistant surface.
• Keep away from draughts, children and pets.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

When Your Candle Has Finished

Our candle vessels are designed to be enjoyed long after the final burn. Once cleaned, you can refill your vessel with an ILLUMINIQUE Candle Refill in your favourite scent or reuse it as a beautiful piece of home décor, such as a planter, trinket pot or decorative storage.
